Dr. Siddaiah R S is a dedicated Kannada Faculty, scholar, and cultural enthusiast with a deep passion for Kannada culture, folklore, and traditional knowledge systems. With strong academic experience in teaching Kannada language and literature, he has consistently worked towards preserving and promoting the rich heritage of Karnataka. He has a special interest in Janapada (folk traditions), including folk songs, folk literature, rituals, customs, and indigenous cultural expressions of Karnataka. Through his initiatives and digital platforms like jaanapadaloka.com, he aims to document, educate, and spread awareness about the cultural roots and folk wisdom of Kannada society. Dr. Siddaiah R S believes that folklore is the soul of a language and culture.
